Drifting in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina - MBDRIFT

This past weekend I took off to Myrtle Beach, SC to do some coverage of MBDRIFT for Wrecked Magazine.

The Myrtle Beach Drift Series in South Carolina is by far one of the most laid back event series on the East Coast. This month, Drift Wars took place where the winner takes all!

This event gave around 12 drivers lots of seat time and allowed several of them to offer ride alongs for bystanders. Since 2006 local drifters have called Myrtle Beach Speedway home, and it was obvious. Several of these guys showed up and ripped the infield to pieces.

ShowZone Driftsports, a major supporter for MB Drift, had their gorgeous S13 out there driven by Christine Seprish. MBDRIFT is a great series for anyone in the area to get their foot in the door drifting. From stock KA 240's to 400whp stroked sr's, MBDRIFT is a place for anyone to come out and have some fun without worrying about a thing.

Joseph Love in the blue/grey RB swapped S14 took the money home! Congrats Joseph!

Hannah & Ryan Hurley - Wedding Coverage

Hannah & Ryan are two young high school sweet hearts that finally tied the knot on July 6, 2013. The traditional, yet beautiful ceremony was held in Burlington, North Carolina at Harvest Baptist Church. With a 4 o'clock ceremony and full day wedding coverage, we started shooting around 10 AM at Hannah's parents home. From then we made our way to the church to shoot a few more final getting ready and bridal party photos. The ceremony went just as planned and the time frame to finish the family photos and  arrive at the reception could not have been more perfect or gone any smoother. 

The reception was held at A Country Venue at Walker Farm, about 35 minutes away from the location of the church. This was my second time shooting here, and it never fails to provide the essentials of a wedding reception. A hot summer day with no rain is just what these two individuals deserved in order to enjoy one of the most important days of their lives!
